Jeff Madrick in Conversation with Paul Krugman

Jeff Madrick, author of Seven Bad Ideas: How Mainstream Economists Have Damaged America and the World, discusses themes in his recent book with Nobel Prize-winning economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman. Madrick is a former columnist for the New York Times, a regular contributor to the New York Review of Books, and director of the Bernard L. Schwartz Rediscovering Government Initiative at the Century Foundation. His books include Age of Greed, The End of Affluence, and Taking America. Krugman is professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and distinguished scholar at the Luxembourg Income Study Center at the Graduate Center, where he will join the faculty in Fall 2015. He is the author of, most recently, End this Depression Now!. This event took place on November 10, 2014, in Elebash Recital Hall.
