Veteran politician Enrique “Coti” Nosiglia (left) and Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici (right) hug each other yesterday at the National Congress. Nosiglia, a political operator from the Radical (UCR) party and Angelici, a lawyer and former bingo hall owner, are highly influential figures in the Judiciary and both supported Macri’s race for the Pink House. Days ago, Civic Coalition lawmaker Elisa Carrió demanded that Macri keep Angelici “out of the government” in order to guarantee judicial independence. Yesterday, in one of the most vital sections of his presidential address, Macri said: “There won’t be any Macrist judges.”
